These things were stupid rusty and the bushings were beyond mushrooms (read as DEAD). Spent maybe 30 minutes total walnut blasting them to the condition you see now and pressing in new bushings. I’m gonna continue my tradition of painting suspension bits weird but sensible
colors. and the front can go back together once I get the oil pan back in.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

I always paint suspension parts high visibility colors, because it makes any strikes or damage immediately apparent.

Only one I’ve got handy is the time I painted the struts on my 944 German-flagged.
No one else would see it, but I would know it was there.

I like hidden splashes of color. When you said weird, I expected something other than red.
